Confirmation Statement Service

Your confirmation statement must be filed no later than two weeks after the “made up to” date. The “made up to” date is either:

• The anniversary of the last confirmation statement’s “made up to” date, or
• Twelve months after the company’s incorporation if no confirmation statement has been filed yet.

If you are unsure of the due date, you can search for your company’s details on the Companies House service.

Standard Service: Filing is completed within 3 working days.
Express Service: Filing is completed within 1 working day.

You can update the following information:

• Trading status of shares
• SIC codes
• Share capital (e.g., make-up of shares, paid-up status)
• Shareholders (e.g., names of shareholders and number of shares held)
• Details of share transfers

Updates to the following must be filed separately:

• Registered office address
• Director details
• People with Significant Control (PSC)

To start the process, we will require the following:

• Your company name, number, and authentication code.

Afterward, you will be sent an online questionnaire asking:

• Has there been a change in paid-up share capital?
• Have there been any changes to shareholders (e.g., new members)?
• Are there any other changes that need to be filed separately?

If you receive a reminder, ensure that your confirmation statement is filed as soon as possible. Failure to comply may result in your company being struck off the register and directors facing prosecution.
If you believe the reminder was sent in error, check your company’s filing history using the Companies House service to confirm your status.

The review period covers the time between:

• The date of incorporation or the last “made up to” date, and
• The “made up to” date of the current confirmation statement.

This period ensures that all changes to company information (e.g., new shareholders) are accurately reflected in the filing.
