Secure an official Certificate of Good Standing for your UK company, issued directly by Companies House.
A Certificate of Good Standing is an official document issued by Companies House that verifies a company’s legal existence and confirms that it is compliant with all statutory requirements in the UK. The certificate affirms that the company is fully incorporated, has filed its required annual accounts and confirmation statements, and is not in the process of being dissolved or removed from the register.
This certificate is frequently required when conducting international business, opening overseas bank accounts, securing foreign investment, or engaging with suppliers, lenders, and other institutions as part of their due diligence processes.
Dragonfly Associates provides a fully managed, efficient service for companies needing a Certificate of Good Standing. Whether you need a standard 10-day turnaround or an express 24-hour delivery, we handle the entire process with accuracy and speed.
Standard Service – £89.99
Express Service – £139.99
The Certificate of Good Standing typically includes the following:
Note: Shareholder information and share capital are not included as Companies House does not allow them to be shown on the certificate.
If your Certificate of Good Standing is intended for use in a country that requires legalisation under the Hague Apostille Convention, be sure to also order our Apostilled Documents Service. We’ll handle the full certification and delivery process.

A company is considered to be in good standing if it is fully up to date with its statutory filings and there are no proceedings underway to dissolve or strike off the company. It must also be properly incorporated and legally operating within the United Kingdom.
To place your order, you’ll need your company name and registration number. You can also request optional additions to the certificate such as director details or company objects. We will also require your delivery address and preferred delivery method (Royal Mail or courier).
For the Standard Service, Companies House typically issues the certificate within 10 working days. With the Express Service, it is issued within 24 hours, provided the order is placed before 1:00 PM on a weekday. Once received, we will dispatch the original by post and send the electronic version by email.
You will receive a PDF copy of the certificate by email as soon as we receive it from Companies House. The physical certificate will be sent to you via Royal Mail Special Delivery. If preferred, courier delivery is available at an additional cost.
Not necessarily. Apostille certification is only required if the recipient of your certificate (such as a foreign bank or government office) requests a legalised version under the Hague Convention. If you are unsure whether this is necessary, we recommend confirming with the requesting party. If required, you can add our Apostilled Documents Service to your order.
This certificate is most commonly used when doing business internationally. Typical scenarios include opening bank accounts overseas, working with lenders or investment firms, registering branches in other countries, or completing supplier verification processes.
Yes. While Companies House provides a standard format, you may request the inclusion of certain optional items such as company objects or names of directors and secretaries. These must be specified at the time of ordering.
